  • Do you have housing in the Portland, Oregon metro area?
  • Will you be traveling from outside the Portland metro area?
  • Would you need a travel stipend?
  • Could you attend with a partial travel stipend?
  • We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at Crowne Plaza Downtown Portland at the discounted rate of $169/night.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from our Thursday and Friday daytime location, a 10 minute walk from our Friday evening location, and a 15 minute streetcar ride plus 5 minute walk from our Saturday and Sunday location.

  • Would you be interested in staying in the conference hotel? (we ask to make sure we're in the right ballpark for how many rooms we've reserved -- attendees will be responsible for booking their own accommodations)
  • Would you like us to share your contact info with other attendees interested in finding a roommate?
  • We are crowd sourcing a list of resources that provide professional development funds to artists. We ask you to please check that list and to check with your tribal nation about travel and professional development funds. If there are resources available to you, please apply to them so that our limited travel scholarships can support as many people as possible.

If you know of resources that might support fellow artists and arts administrators' travel, please add them to the list!

  • Read the Native Theater Convening Code of Ethics

  • Are you a vegetarian?
  • Demographic Information (OPTIONAL)

In our efforts to build a diverse convening, we invite you to share as much as you'd like to help us achieve that goal. We are an Indigenous-led, multi-ethnic cohort made up of people with complicated identities, so we realize that asking folx to check boxes doesn't tell the whole story!

  • How old are you?
  • How would you describe your racial/ethnic identity? (check any that apply)
  • How did you hear about this Convening?
  • Please add info@nativeperformingarts.org to your approved senders/email address book! We will send you follow-up emails with more information.

    Thank you!
