2026 Bonita Haynes Holloway Inspiring the Future

$500 Scholarship Application

Scholarship Guidelines:

This scholarship must be used at the University of Texas-Arlington

Eligibility:
- A Zeta Mu chapter member in good standing with the University of Texas-Arlington and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. who is NOT graduating in Spring 2026
- Minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
- At least 80% Active Participation in chapter events and programs
Application Packet:
- Completed application
- Record of participation in Zeta Mu events and programs
- Official transcript
- Essay - minimum 500 word typed essay, 1” margin, double-spaced, 12 point - Times Roman font style on the topic:
  
  How do you plan to make a positive impact and support Zeta Mu in the future?
The complete application packet is due by 11:58 pm CST on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Finalists MAY BE required to attend an interview via Zoom. Interview notifications will be sent the week of Monday, March 8, 2026.

Scholarship winner will be announced at the Xi Theta Omega and Zeta Mu Chapters joint meeting on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

***SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS WILL BE DISBURSED DIRECTLY TO THE AWARD WINNER UPON ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION***
