  • Thank you for the interest your company has shown in becoming a member of the Canadian Process Control Association (CPCA).

The Canadian Process Control Association is comprised of member companies involved in the development, production, sales and service of process control and automation products and systems.

CPCA members are like-minded companies whose common goals are to bring the best quality, certified products to the Canadian process market and to stay on top of leading-edge technologies. We work with regulatory agencies to set standards and streamline approval processes and with colleges and universities to encourage students to pursue careers in instrumentation through scholarships and bursaries.

    Our members include:

    • Manufacturers
    • Distributors
    • Service Providers

CPCA provides a forum to exchange technical, industry and regulatory information, develop industry statistics, and encourage professional and ethical behaviour and quality standards among its members.

With access to the leading source of Canadian market information, CPCA members are better able to make strategic decisions by being more aware of how their business is doing compared to the overall Canadian process market.

CPCA offers ongoing training on aspects ranging from sales management and industry standards to new technologies.

CPCA members provide reliable products, exceptional service, and knowledgeable support.

CPCA’s membership includes professionals in the following fields from each member company:

    • Executive Leadership
    • Human Resources
    • Sale & Marketing
    • Technology

Please note that once your firm is registered as a member company, additional contacts from your firm can be added to your membership at no additional cost, giving them access to all of the member benefits.

All new company membership applications must be reviewed and approved by the CPCA Board of Directors. Afterward, you will receive an invoice to pay your annual membership dues according to your annual sales.

Note: Only the CPCA office knows and has access to the dues amount paid by individual companies. This is kept confidential and reported to the Board only in aggregate.

  • CPCA NON-DISCLOSURE AND CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT

This NON-DISCLOSURE AND CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”) is made on Pick a Date*, by and between * ("Member") and the Canadian Process Control Association, a national trade association (“CPCA”). Both CPCA and the Member acknowledge that in the course of their relationship, each may provide the other with certain proprietary or confidential information, including but not limited to statistical data, aggregated analysis, and other information relevant to the activities of CPCA (collectively, the “Confidential Information”).

The confidential information will be used solely and exclusively in connection with the relationship between the parties and for no other purpose. Neither party shall disclose the Confidential Information to any third party except as explicitly permitted in this Agreement.

CPCA recognizes that the information shared by the Member is confidential and proprietary to the member. CPCA acknowledges and agrees that it will have access to Confidential Information such as statistical data, and that the disclosure or unauthorized use of such Information by CPCA may injure the member. Therefore, CPCA agrees that it will use good business practices to avoid divulging this information, in any manner contrary to the bylaws of the CPCA. In order to protect the identity of members, the submission by a member company of figures that are very large can be phased in over a period of time. In the unlikely event that a company leaves CPCA, such numbers can be phased out.

The Member acknowledges that any Confidential Information provided by CPCA, including but not limited to aggregated reports, statistical analysis, and related data, is proprietary to CPCA. The Member agrees to use the Confidential Information solely for its internal purposes and not disclose, distribute, or share it with any external parties, including affiliates, clients, or competitors, without prior written consent from CPCA and refrain from using CPCA's Confidential Information in any way that could harm the association or its members. The Member agrees to protect CPCA's Confidential Information with the same degree of care as it uses to protect its own Confidential Information, but no less than a reasonable standard of care.

It is the intention of the parties hereto that the provisions of this Agreement shall be enforced to the fullest extent permissible under the laws and public policies of each jurisdiction in which such enforcement is sought, but that the unenforceability (or the modification to conform with such laws or public policies) of any provision hereof shall not render unenforceable or impair the remainder of this Agreement, which shall be deemed amended to delete or modify, as necessary, the invalid or unenforceable provisions. The parties further agree to alter the balance of this Agreement in order to render the same valid and enforceable. The restrictions expressed in this letter are in no way to supersede or eliminate any rights that the parties have pursuant to any applicable law pertaining to trade secrets.

CPCA hereby agrees that it and its employees, agents, representatives and affiliates will comply with the provisions hereof.

It is further understood and agreed that no failure or delay by either party in exercising any right, power or privilege hereunder will operate a waiver thereof, nor will any single or partial exercise thereof preclude any other or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any accordance with the laws of the province or territory of *.
