  • Here are some important things you need to know before completing this form:

    This year, the application window begins on June 15th and closes July 15th.

    We provide training scholarships to adult women (18+) in the sport of powered paragliding. 

    Scholarships provide funds for class tuition ONLY.  We do not cover costs of travel, food, lodging, etc.  We do not cover expenses related to broken and damaged equipment.  Scholarship awards can not be used to train with a relative or spouse as the instructor.  Scholarship awards can only be used for training with an individual or school that holds current instructor ratings from ASC or USPPA.

    Applicants can only apply once a year.  Duplicate applications will be deleted.

    If selected as a recipient of the Aurora PPG training scholarship, you agree to become an ambassador for women in paramotoring.  This includes but is not limited to the following:

    • striving to continuously improve your skills to be independent and safe while paramotoring
    • setting a good example of a respectful member of the paramotor community
    • being supportive and encouraging to other women in the paramotor community
    • promoting the mission of Aurora PPG through sharing your experience
    • giving back to the paramotor community according to your skills and abilities

    SUBMISSION

    Thank you so much for taking the time to complete the scholarship application. Your submission will be reviewed, and you will get a confirmation sent to you email. You will be contacted within two weeks regarding your application but an award determination may take up to three months.
