  • AIIA National Conference Masterclass Applications

    Are you a tertiary student or early-career professional going to the AIIA National Conference? Fill out the form below to apply for the 10 November masterclasses! The masterclass application deadline is 1 November 2024.*
  • The AIIA National Conference will take place on 10 November. Information about the conference is available here.

    Masterclasses will take place in the morning and afternoon of 10 November 2024 at the Australian National University Coral Bell School.

    Successful candidates will attend two careers-focused masterclass on one of the four following topics:

    • Multilateral Diplomacy and International Institutions
    • International Business
    • Media and Public Diplomacy
    • Disaster resiliance and international crisis response

    Successful candidates will also attend an embassy reception on the evening of 10 November hosted by our diplomatic partner, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Please note that you must attend the masterclass in order to attend the reception.

    Applicants must either purchase a ticket for the AIIA National conference or be sponsored by an institution to be considered for masterclass attendance. You can purchase a ticket here. Tertiary students and early career professionals who are members of the AIIA will receive preferential consideration. We will announce masterclass allocation and times one week before the conference.

    Your institution may already be sponsoring the masterclasses, and you may therefore have an opportunity to attend a masterclass and the AIIA National Conference for free. Check with your institution, who will be sending us the names of their selected candidates. If your institution wishes to sponsor masterclass participants, please email admin@internationalaffairs.org.au.
