Community Table Host Agreement & Terms
By submitting this form, the host agrees to the following terms:
1. Setup & Space Use
Indoor Spaces (Library First Floor)
Hosts will provide their own table(s) (maximum 6 ft in length), chairs, and all activity materials.
Activities must be seated and table-based in order to respect shared library space and avoid monopolizing library resources.
Activities must remain appropriate for a public library environment.
Outdoor Spaces
Outdoor activities are limited to a maximum footprint of 10 ft x 10 ft.
Hosts must provide their own tables, chairs, and materials.
Activities must remain contained within the assigned space.
Hosts are responsible for setup and breakdown within their assigned timeframe.
2. Public Access
Community Tables are open to all visitors of the Chattanooga Downtown Library, regardless of whether they are specifically attending Autistic Pride Day.
Participation may not be restricted to a specific group.
No participation fees may be charged.
3. Sales, Fundraising & Solicitation
No selling or vendoring is permitted at Community Tables.
Direct solicitation is not permitted.
Fundraising is limited to passive signage that includes a QR code only.
Vendoring and active solicitation are limited to the designated 4th Floor event room.
4. Materials & Liability
Hosts understand that all materials they provide are subject to normal wear and tear, frequent public use, potential damage, or loss.
Hosts assume full responsibility for the items they bring.
Hosts agree that Autistic Pride Chattanooga, the Chattanooga Downtown Library, event participants, and members of the public are not liable for any damage, loss, or theft of materials.
5. Community Values & Conduct
Hosts agree to uphold the values of Autistic Pride Chattanooga by fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment.
Ableist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory language or behavior will not be tolerated.
Hosts agree to respect the communication styles of Autistic and neurodiverse individuals.
Proselytizing, political campaigning, or promotion of unrelated commercial services is not permitted.
Hosts are responsible for monitoring their table space and addressing concerns promptly and respectfully.
Organizers reserve the right to modify or discontinue activities that do not align with these terms or with library policies.
