  • COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM

    Sponsored by Birmingham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
  • Applicants should have the following Credentials: 

    • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 2.5
    • Minimum credit hours 12
    • Community Service Involvement
    • Communication Skills
    • Leadership Skills
    • Enrolled at Miles College or Lawson State Community College

    · TO APPLY:

    • Complete and submit an application form online by 11:59 p.m. CST on March 1, 2026.

    • Provide (1) Community Service Letter of Recommendation on Agency Letterhead or online..

    • Please copy and send the following Letter of Recommendation Form to the appropriate individuals for submittal: LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION.
    • Submit a copy of your college transcript online by March 1, 2026.
    • A photograph head shot for display and media purposes (required).

    • Complete and submit a Media Release Form.

    Notes:

    • In order to receive the scholarship award, Final Grades will be verified before scholarship funds can be disbursed.
    • Please note that it is the responsibility of the applicant to provide instructions to the community
      service official writing the Letter of Recommendation on their behalf.
  • Applicants who are awarded scholarships will be notified by April 15, 2026 and will be recognized by the
    chapter on May 16, 2026.
