Upgrade your skills as both a mentor and a mentee through an upcoming FREE online virtual training with BCCWITT!

SkillPlan’s Mentorship Matters program is a proven framework to help workers improve their communication and ability to support learning, for improved workplace safety, quality, and productivity. Check out their website for more info: https://mentorshipmatters.com

This training has two mandatory parts:

    1. A self-directed online course that introduces concepts of mentorship (2 hours or less)
    2. A live virtual Mentorship Matters workshop where these ideas and strategies are discussed and practiced, delivered by BCCWITT staff and volunteers who have been trained by SkillPlan (2 hours)

Participants will receive a Mentorship Matters workbook, and a certificate upon completion of both parts of the training.

The training is FREE and available to all British Columbia tradespeople of all genders.

Live interactive workshops will take place online through Zoom video chat, in a 2 hour session on either an evening or weekend in February or March 2024. You are required to complete the self-directed online course before participating in the interactive workshop. You’ll be learning together in a small class with a maximum of 25 participants, who are all tradespeople like you, sharing knowledge and learning new skills together.
