Tentative performances should be listed, but awards may be conditional upon receiving confirmation.✦ Artist(s) origin: Artists must reside, work, and create in BC or Canada to be eligible. If a company or band includes a combination of BC/Canadian and International artists, the majority must reside, work, and create in BC or Canada. Please include your international artists, but note they are not eligible for funding support.✦ Genre Discipline: choose the closest match from the dropdown list.✦ Diversity/Designated Priority Groups: Funding priority may be given to applicants considered part of a BC Arts Council designated priority group. Indicate whether the artist(s) self-identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit), Deaf or experience disability; Black or people of colour or other equity-seeking groups, e.g. women, 2SLGBTQIA+, immigrants, refugees. If you're unsure, indicate N/A.✦ Performance Dates: Must be between June 15, 2026, and June 14, 2027. For performances over multiple days/nights, indicate the first date and the number of performances, e.g., January 1, 2027-3 shows.✦ Total Artists' Fees: This is the total fee(s) paid directly to the artists/artistic company.✦ Eligible Amount: Multiply the artist fee(s) by 50% for BC and Canadian artists. The maximum eligible amount is $5,000 per event. ✦ Projected Attendance/Audience: Make as accurate an estimate as possible for each show.
