In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to be bound by the rules and regulations of The Canadian Kennel Club and by any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list including the waiver/release form below. In exchange for being allowed to participate in this Event, I CERTIFY that I am the owner or authorized agent of the actual owner of the dog entered in this CKC Sanction Match. I accept full responsibility for all statements made in this entry and for the dog’s participation in this match. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry I agree to be bound by the rules and regulations of the Canadian Kennel Club and any additional rules and regulations put forth regarding this specific event. I, the registered participant for this event, understands that my participation and my dog's participation in this/these event(s) (hereafter referred to as "the Event") involves inherent risks, that may include but are not limited to: -Injuries to myself, my dog, other people, or other dogs.-Dog bites, scratches, dog fights.-Slips, falls, and environmental hazards.-Property damage.-Exposure to contagious illnesses or diseases. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Event. I acknowledge that these risks are not the only ones present and there may be other unforeseen risks. I agree to hold harmless the RRCEC, Best Friends School of Dog Training, and their agents and employees, for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by spectators or by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property. I agree to assume sole responsibility and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the RRCEC, Best Friends School of Dog Training for loss, accidents or theft and I hold the RRCEC, the host and any CKC Judge(s) harmless from any claims, actions or lawsuits resulting from my participation in this event.I release and discharge the event organizers, Best Friends School of Dog Training, and associated individuals from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my or my dog's involvement. This includes claims related to negligence by the organizers. I agree to protect the event organizers from any claims or expenses resulting from injuries or damages caused by my or my dog's actions or negligence during the Event. I take full responsibility for any such claims. I confirm that I am the legal owner or authorized agent of my dog(s). I certify that my dog(s) is/are healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations (DAPP+Rabies), and has no history of aggression unless disclosed in writing. I will keep my dog(s) under control, follow event rules, and clean up after my dog(s). I understand the organizers can remove aggressive dogs and/or dogs that are not kept under control. I am responsible for any medical emergencies for myself or my dog(s) during the Event. In an emergency where I cannot be reached, I authorize event organizers to arrange medical and/or veterinary treatment at my expense. I have read and understand this waiver. I know this is a release of liability and a contract, and I am agreeing to it voluntarily. I agree that this document binds me and my legal representatives.
