  • Event Policies & Participation Agreement

    Please review and agree to the following guidelines before confirming your participation.
  • Event Hours

  • *Food Truck Fridays operate from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

    *Vendors must stop serving by 8:30 PM and fully exit the lot by 9:00 PM.

  • Setup & Teardown

  • *Vendor setup is 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM
    *All vendors must be fully ready by 3:45 PM
    *No late setup is permitted due to safety + traffic flow
    *No early teardown unless approved by BBN staff

  • Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • *No refunds for weather-related cancellations
    *No refunds for late arrivals or no-shows
    *Refunds are only issued if the event is fully canceled by BBN or the City
    *Monthly and season packages are non-refundable once the season begins

  • Photo & Video Release

  • I grant the Black Business Network MN permission to use photos or video taken at the event for promotional and storytelling purposes.

  • Indemnity & Liability Waiver

  • By participating, I agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Black Business Network MN, its staff, and community partners from liability related to my participation, equipment, food handling, and products sold during Food Truck Fridays.

  • Weather Notice

  • Food Truck Fridays is an outdoor event. Vendors are responsible for bringing:

    *Weather protection
    *Tent weights (minimum 25 lbs per leg if tented)
    *Appropriate staffing
    *Equipment protection

    BBN is not responsible for weather-related damages.

  • Fire & Safety Compliance

  • Food trucks and cottage food vendors must comply with all city fire and safety regulations. This includes proper handling of propane, generators, electrical cords, and food safety equipment.

  • Contact & Communication Requirement

  • Vendors agree to maintain updated communication with BBN, including responding to confirmation emails, site maps, and day-of instructions.

    What Happens Next

    Your application will be reviewed within 5–7 business days.

    If approved, you will be emailed an invoice based on your selected

    package and dates within 3–5 business days after approval.

    Your vendor space is not confirmed until payment is received.

    Required documents will be requested after approval (insurance + licensing).

    Logistics for your event date(s) — arrival time, parking, layout, etc. — will be emailed 1 week before your first scheduled event.

    Important Reminders

    Submission does not guarantee placement.

    If your selected date(s) are full, you may be placed on the waitlist and notified by email.

    Payment is made only after approval — no payments are collected on the application form.
