• Resident NOTICE TO VACATE

    USE THIS FORM TO PROVIDE BELL 30 DAY NOTICE PRIOR TO END OF LEASE OR if ON A MONTH TO MONTH TENACY, USE THIS FORM PRIOR TO THE 1st, on the MONTH YOU WISH TO VACATE, or as REQUIRED IN YOUR INITIAL LEASE.

  • I have read my Lease Agreement and Understand the following:

    A. that a Thirty Day Notice of Intent to Vacate is required by Section 1946 of California Civil Code for month-to-month tenancies and by the Lease Agreement for fixed-term tenancies;

    B. tenant(s) cannot use the Security Deposit as last month’s Rent. Rent is payable through the termination of the tenancy;

    C. for Residents on a fixed-term lease, a Thirty Day Notice of Intent to Vacate does not release Resident from any obligation of the Lease, including payment to the end of the Lease term;

    D. resident remains in possession of the property, and the tenancy does not terminate, until all belongings are removed and all keys, garage and gate remotes returned to the Property Management Office; and

    E. except as provided by law, rent is due and payable up to and including the date of possession, or thirty (30) days after Tenant's) deliver this Notice to Vacate (completed and submitted), whichever is later.

  • Pursuant to California Civil Code section 1950.5, you have the right to request the landlord or landlords agent perform an initial inspection of the premises you were occupying for the purpose of identififying deficiencies and giving you an opportunity to remedy any deficiencies to avoid deductions from your security deposit.  This inspection shall take place no earlier than two weeks prior to the termination of your tenancy during normal business hours at a mutually agreeable time.  If you would like to do the work to remedy any identified deficiencies, you must do so at your own expense and you agree to idemnify, defend and hold harmless the landlord and or landlords agent from any cost, liabilities, etc., which may result from your election to do this work.  For your protection you should use only licensed and properly insured professionals.
