  • Leadership Giving Officer

  • OVERVIEW

In support of philanthropic giving, this is one of two Leadership Giving Officer positions responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a portfolio of current and potential donors capable of making gifts of $5,000 and above (Council giving society level) or planned gifts supporting Bigelow Laboratory.

The Leadership Giving Officer will help to develop strategies and carry out strategic plans aimed at maximizing support of the Laboratory by working with our scientists and board volunteers.      The Leadership Giving Officer works under the direction of the Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Advancement (VPSA), and in close collaboration with the President and CEO, their fellow Leadership Giving Officer, the Advancement Grants and Operations Manager, and Advancement Officers, to ensure that ample funds are generated to enhance and support the overall mission of the Laboratory. Under the direction of the VPSA, the position will work with the CEO and Board of Directors on donor strategy and engagement. The salary range for this position is $97,914-$145,897 annually
