1. Introduction and Purpose
Radiant Birth is founded on the principle of building a supportive community; a village for both birthing folk and birthworkers. I am thrilled to welcome you into our Radiant Birth family. Our model recognises that every mother/birthing person is unique and every doula brings their own special offerings, as well as the opportunity to deliver Radiant Birth specific offerings such as birth and postpartum workshops, online sessions and more.
This Agreement sets out the terms under which we will work together to provide care during these sacred rites of passage.
2. Scope of Services
Community Integration: Radiant Birth will include you in referrals, website listings, and social media promotions, ensuring your unique profile reaches our community.
Client Connection: Prospective clients will be directed to a dedicated booking link leading to your personalised booking page.
Service Transition: Once a client’s enquiry is confirmed and a discovery call is successfully arranged, the client will transition to your care but will also be onboarded to the RB Community.

3. Fee and Payment Structure
Booking Fee: Every booking through RB incurs a fee of $240 or 10% of total fee whichever is lower, can be collected over multiple invoices. Invoice(s) will be issued to you, payable within 14 days. There is no minimum or maximum number of referral bookings for the doula.
Annual Fee: An annual fee of $300 applies. This fee covers set-up, website inclusion, social promotion and collective inclusions and administrative tasks and more.
Additional services: You may have the opportunity to book private sessions (private birth education, birth reflections, birth planning and postpartum planning sessions) that Radiant Birth will offer, these will each have their own fee for payment structure which is agreed upon between parties where relevant.
4. Flow of Work
Your Doula Deck: Provide a bespoke biographical profile. This profile should highlight your training, qualifications, strengths, and specific areas of focus (e.g. belly binding, ritual, birth education).
Service Areas and Schedule: Confirm your areas of service (e.g., Preston, Prahran) and your preferred availability (Monday to Friday) for discovery calls; this information will be integrated into our online booking system.
Service Package: Submit a clean PDF outlining your offerings and fees. If you need assistance with this document, please let us know.
High-Resolution Imagery: Supply high-resolution images for promotional use on our website and social media. Your preferred bio picture should be in a 4:5 aspect ratio to align with our warm, vintage aesthetic. If you require assistance in obtaining suitable images, Radiant Birth can recommend trusted photographers, with costs shared as agreed.
5. Professional Standards and Responsibilities
Quality of Care: Although clients will transition fully into your care after the initial referral process, you are joining Radiant Birth by recommendation and are expected to continue your services with care and professionalism. We only offer doula support where a client is engaged in care with a medical care provider eg. birthing in the public or private maternity systems, private midwife, private obstetrician etc
Operating as a Sole Trader: You will continue to operate as a sole trader, maintaining your individual brand and approach within our supportive framework.
Mutual Support: We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where each birthworker benefits from shared wisdom and support. Back up support available.
6. Amendments and Feedback
This Agreement is intended to be flexible and collaborative. Radiant Birth welcomes your feedback and any editing suggestions to ensure that the terms work effectively for both parties. Any amendments must be documented in writing and mutually agreed upon.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing 30 days’ written notice. In the event of termination, any outstanding fees for services rendered up to the termination date will be settled in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
