I authorize investigation of all statements contained in this Application for Employment and, as may be necessary, to arrive at an employment decision. In the event of employment, I understand I must abide by all rules and regulations of Bloomsdale Fun Farm including but not limited to: abiding by the owner’s manuals of all equipment to be operated and following all operating instructions.
I hereby acknowledge that any employment relationship with this company is of an 'at will' nature, which means that the employee may resign at any time and the employer may discharge the employee at any time with or without cause. It is further understood that the 'at will' employment relationship may not be changed by any written document or by conduct unless such change is specifically acknowledged in writing by an authorized executive of the company.
I acknowledge that I have been notified that my employment by Bloomsdale Fun Farm is for a specific temporary seasonal period as determined by Bloomsdale Fun Farm. As such, I am performing employment as a Seasonal Employee for a Seasonal Employer and my employment is limited to the ending date of the Seasonal Period. Thus, my employment as a Seasonal Employee will deny me Unemployment Compensation.
As an employee of Bloomsdale Fun Farm I hereby authorize said company to request and authorize background checks of any sort to be released to Bloomsdale Fun Farm. This includes but is not limited to the Missouri State Police ID department, background checks, sexual offender checks and periodic drug tests. Once hired I will fill out all necessary state and federal forms for tax and payroll purposes.
IN THE EVENT OF EMPLOYMENT, I UNDERSTAND THAT FALSE OR MISLEADING INFORMATION GIVEN IN MY APPLICATION OR INTERVIEW(S) MAY RESULT IN DISCHARGE. I UNDERSTAND, ALSO, THAT I AM REQUIRED TO ABIDE BY ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE COMPANY, WHETHER STATED IN THIS APPLICATION, THE CURRENT HANDBOOK, OTHER DEPARTMENTAL HANDBOOKS, MEMOS, OR ANY APPLICABLE EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT. NON-CONFORMANCE TO ANY OF THESE REQUIREMENTS CAN BE CAUSE FOR PENALTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE.
