Barista Help Wanted

We are seeking baristas to brew and sample coffee at the upcoming Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest, April 11 & 12 at Expo New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM.

Ideal candidates have experience working in a coffee shop and have knowledge of coffee brewing fundamentals and verbiage.

All shifts take place at Expo NM State Fairgrounds in Albuquerque, NM

Must be available the following dates & times:

Training: Thursday, April 9. 3pm
No less than 2 of the following shifts:
- Saturday, April 11: 8:30am - 1pm
- Saturday, April 11: 12:00pm - 6pm
- Sunday, April 12: 8:30am - 1pm
- Sunday, April 12 12:00pm - 6pm
- Full shift: Saturday, April 11, 8:30am - 6pm
- Full shift: Sunday, April 12, 8:30am - 6pm
Preference is given to those able to work a full shift.

Must be comfortable and experienced with:

Manual brew methods: pour-over and french press; AeroPress is a plus.
Discussing coffee with consumers; including origin and process and tasting notes.

Pay

$20 per hour
Training shift is paid
Baristas will be paid out in cash at the conclusion of the last shift
Soliciting for tips is not allowed
