Electrical/power surges and power spikes, faulty or unsuitable wiring may cause damage to the printed circuit board. Unplug the motor, remove the cover and inspect the printed circuit board (PCB). Blown components, completely blown fuses or black, broken copper tracks on the PCB indicate a fault of this nature and are not covered by warranty.
*Note: Proof of purchase is to come from an authorised garage door or opener dealership. The proof of purchase needs to cover both product and installation.
Sectional Doors - 20kg is the recommended opening force for a balanced door and when this varies excess load can be placed on the motor and can invalidate the warranty. Disengage and close the door. Lift & stop the door when the top panel is in the postions shown in the diagram below (Fig.1). Repeat this for all panels. When correctly sprung the door should remain stationary in this position - it should not drop or raise. Adjust spring tension to achieve this result.
Series A Roller Door - 20kg is the recommended opening force for a balanced door and when this varies excess load can be placed on the motor and can invalidate the warranty. Disengage and close door. Once closed the door will naturally raise 200mm (due to spring tension) from the floor. From there, use approx. 20kg of manual force to raise door open. Door should easily raise to fully open position. Repeat for closing (with same force). If door either too freely raises, or is too difficult to lift, then spring tension needs to be corrected.
Series B Roller Door - 20kg is the recommended opening force for a balanced door and when this varies excess load can be placed on the motor and can invalidate the warranty.
Series C Roller Door - 20kg is the recommended opening force for a balanced door and when this varies excess load can be placed on the motor and can invalidate the warranty.
