NOTE TO NCAA DIVISION I STUDENT ATHLETES:

Players currently enrolled and playing for a NCAA Division I institution may not participate in an active role with a WPSL team until they have completed their 2024 Spring Semester academic requirements at their respective college or university.

Players with NCAA Division II and II, plus NAIA schools and Junior Colleges do not have restrictions during the Spring to train and play with an "outside organization."

FEE:

$55.00 (plus applicable electronic transaction fee) must be paid at the time of Registration.

Registration Fee is non-refundable unless an Act of God or Family Emergency interferes with the scheduled tryout dates.

Oklahoma City FC / WPSL 2024 Tryouts Shirt will be provided.

MINIMUM AGE:

Players must be 14 years-old by April 23, 2024 or be entering their Freshman year of High School this fall in order to attend tryouts.

If Player is Under 18, a Parent or Legal Guardian must complete the online Registration.

2024 TEAMS:

Oklahoma City FC will field two teams this summer:

Oklahoma City FC - WPSL

Oklahoma City FC 21s - WPSL U21

In addition to the above teams, Oklahoma City FC will have a "Summer Training Program" for players ages 13-17 who do not make the above rosters or are looking for additional summer training. Details can be found below.

OKLAHOMA CITY FC SUMMER TRAINING PROGRAM

MINIMUM STANDARDS:

Oklahoma City FC will train a minimum of twice a week and play an 8-to-10 game WPSL schedule beginning mid-May thru the first week of July. OKC FC respects that players have pre-planned family summer gatherings - yet, we expect our athletes to be able to commit to particpating in a minimum of 75 percent of scheduled team programming. A team meeting will be scheduled once the final rosters for Oklahoma City FC and the 21s have been selected.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA CITY FC:

Oklahoma City FC enters its 16th season in the WPSL, the fourth most tenured member of the historic WPSL.

The "ScissorTails" have compiled a .714 all-time winning percentage, won five conference titles, and advanced to the WPSL Championship semifinals twice.

Traditionally, team rosters have comprised of top collegiate players at all levels, elite prep prospects and players who previously played collegiate soccer.

Oklahoma City FC is aligned in the ultra-competitive Heartland Conference alongside FC Wichita, Kansas City Scott Gallagher SC, KC Courage, Missouri Reign, Side FC 92 and Sunflower State FC. Conference alignment for WPSL U21 will be announced at a later date.

Celebrating its 26th season of play in 2024, the Women's Premier Soccer League is the most tenured and largest women's soccer league in the world - with an all-time high 130 teams competing in 33 U.S. states and 73 metro-areas. The amateur summer league produced more than 70 percent of the selections in the 2024 NWSL College Draft and WPSL alumnae represent 50 percent of the members of the United States women's national team.
