• Maintenance Provider Practical Workshop

This workshop will focus on the maintenance, inspection and repair of onsite wastewater systems under the supervision of a experienced WCOWMA trainer. It is structured as a three-part learning experience and is intended for those with prior knowledge of onsite wastewater systems.
  • 1. Pre-Field Webinar: Review critical SPM maintenance requirements and industry practice guidelines before heading to the field.

    2. Two-Day Field Training: Get hands-on, expert-led experience performing maintenance on onsite systems and troubleshooting repairs.

    3. Post-Field Webinar: Gain proficiency in the final step—compiling compliant, professional maintenance assessment reports.

  • Onsite wastewater systems assessed during the workshop may include any combination of the following system types:

    • Type 1
    • Type 2
    • Type 3

Some systems may be pressure distributed and some may be gravity-fed. Participants may assess multiple systems of the same type and may not encounter all system types.

  • Field training component of this training experience is in-person in the Chilliwack Area.
