Here's what you need to know about the grant program:
-The grant offers up to $25,000 that can be used towards your downpayment, closing cost, interest paydown and escrow deposits. It can also be used to lower your principal payment.
-If you reside in your home for a total of 3 years the grant will be fully forgiven. If you sell or leave your primary home prior to 3 years the grant will be due back.
-If you qualify for a traditional mortgage you will qaualify for the grant as well.
