1. Hair Preparation
All individuals being screened must have: clean hair (washed at least the night before), fully dry and completely detangled, and no products applied (gel, spray, creams, oils).
⚠️ Failure to meet these requirements may result in additional charges starting at $65.
2. Environment & Conduct
A responsible adult must be present during the service.
A calm and respectful environment must be maintained at all times.
No alcohol or impairing substances may be consumed during the appointment.
Technicians may suspend or reschedule the service if these conditions are not met.
3. Pets Policy
For everyone’s safety, pets must stay in a separate room.
They can interfere, bark, or become anxious around tools and technicians.
4. Treatment Space Requirements
Please provide a clean, well-lit, and comfortable indoor space for the technician to work — such as a living room, family room, or dining area.
Outdoor areas like garages, porches, or backyards are not suitable for treatment due to lack of proper lighting, ventilation, and comfort, especially for children who must remain seated.
The process is hygienic — we don’t spread lice or contaminate your home.
5. Fees & Payments
The Home Visit Fee is required to schedule the appointment and is non-refundable.
Treatments, additional screenings, aftercare products, and late-hours fees are billed separately.
All additional charges must be paid at the time of service via Zelle or cash.
Late-hour appointments (after 8:00 PM) incur a $100 additional fee.
⚠️ Appointments located more than 25 miles from our base location may incur additional travel fees. These charges will be discussed and confirmed in advance when scheduling.
6. Recording & Documentation
For safety, training, and quality purposes, technicians may take limited photos or videos during the appointment.
Recordings are for internal use only and will never be shared publicly without written consent.
Clients may request no recordings at the beginning of the visit.
7. Guarantee Policy
The 30-Day Lice-Free Guarantee applies only if all household members are screened and treated if positive.
Aftercare products provided by Bye-Bye Pesky Lice must be used exactly as instructed.
The Home Visit Fee will always be charged for any follow-up appointments.
If lice or nits are found during the guarantee period, retreatment will be provided at no cost (excluding the Home Visit Fee).
