Thank you for submitting your monthly By-Name List data to the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness. This data supports your community to inform improvements, measure impact, and drive reductions.
The data also contributes to a national understanding of homelessness. Data informs CAEH’s advocacy efforts to change and introduce housing and homelessness policies, and ensure that communities have the resources required to effectively respond to the evolving needs of the sector.
All CAEH communities participating in Built for Zero Canada and/or receiving support from the Technical Training & Assistance program have the opportunity to submit By-Name List data.
All communities are encouraged to submit chronic and veteran data. Communities that have achieved a Quality By-Name List are also encouraged to submit chronic sub-population data for youth, single adults, families, and/or Indigenous Peoples. They also have the opportunity to submit 'all homeless' data (i.e., chronic AND non-chronic data), including sub-population data.
CAEH offers many resources to ensure your data is balanced and reliable. We encourage you to review the CAEH BNL Data Reliablity Tool & Definitions (BFZ-C communities have a copy of this in your Change Package). Other helpful BNL resources are available on the BFZ-C website.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your BFZ-C Improvement Advisor, TTA Trainer, or email data@caeh.ca.
