Healthcare Professional

Healthcare professionals, such as Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, HCAs and healthcare students are all welcome! It is a unique clinical experience to deliver truly holistic care over the course of one week. For any healthcare students we are looking to offer tailored elective placements exploring holistic care and an introduction to care for people through travel.
We will run a Preparation Day in the summer which is required for ALL NEW volunteers, Team leaders and returning helpers who last attended more than 5 years ago, any other volunteers are very welcome to attend.

DBS & Safeguarding

We need ALL volunteers to have an enhanced DBS check to work with adults, and ideally with children. We can accept checks done for organisations if these are registered with the DBS Update Service.
