At UNL, the NCCEF will award seven $3,500 scholarships in honor of Michael S. Turner. One will be awarded to a freshman and 6 to upperclass students.
Ineligible, incomplete, and late applications will not be considered.
Application deadline for 2025-2026 is April 15, 2025.
Criteria
- Must be accepted as a student in CASNR majoring in Agribusiness or Agricultural Economics.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above (upperclass students) or have demonstrated academic excellence as determined by UNL from SAT/ACT scores (freshman).
- Be a child of a parent/legal guardian who has been an active member, director or employee for at least the prior 3 years of a cooperative which has been a member in good standing of the Council for the past 5 years.
Recipients are selected by a CASNR Scholarship Committee.
Once chosen, NCCEF will verify co-op membership before announcing recipients.
Your application information may be provided to the University of Nebraska Foundation or Donor in order to aid in choosing a recipient, invite you to attend a scholarship meeting/luncheon with the donors of your scholarship or provide more information or promote on your award in their publications. Scholarships may be changed or discontinued by the donor at any time.
