Call for Proposals
Due: February 1, 2019
Status: Notification will be e-mailed to the presenter listed as "primary" by March 1, 2019. Primary presenters are responsible for notifying co-presenters of the decision.
Evaluation criteria: The Proposal Committee will evaluate proposals based on the session's relevance and appropriateness to the field, supporting evidence, and clarity of participant outcomes. The committee prioritizes a conference program that is balanced across current topics and targeted audiences.
The committee is unable to accept proposals promoting commercial interests. Vendors wishing to present at the conference should contact the Vendor Committee Chair Margo Vaughan (email@example.com).
Session length: 90 minutes
Special Requests: If you require special consideration in scheduling or assignment of a session room (e.g. those sessions requiring floor space for movement activities or rounds of tables for group discussion), please communicate those directly to the Proposal Chair listed below immediately after submitting your proposal.
Audiovisual equipment: LCD projectors, projection screens, and speakers will be provided. Presenters are responsible for any additional equipment needed (including laptops and adapters for Apple products).
Handouts: Handouts will be available to participants through the CCSS Conference App. Presenters will be required to submit handouts electronically by June 3, 2019. If accepted, details and submission instructions will be provided.
Registration & Lodging
Availability: Registration will open February 1, 2019.
Discount: One presenter per accepted proposal will qualify for free registration. If presenters wish to use this discount, they should wait to register until notification of proposal status on March 1, 2019. Discount codes will be included in acceptance notifications. Registration fees are not refundable.
Lodging: Presenters do not receive discounts or stipends for lodging. Those who require a room are encouraged to reserve one when the CCSS room block is opened on February 1, 2019. More information will be provided in the registration announcement. Conference staff are not responsible for room availability.
