The Don and Lucile McNeal Scholarship Application

The Don McNeal Kiwanis Scholarship was established to provide educational opportunities to Council Grove High School senior(s) that are pursuing a college degree. This scholarship is in memory of Don McNeal, his family was devoted to the Council Grove area for many years. Don became co-owner of the Council Grove Republican in 1947 where he later became co-owners with his son, Craig McNeal in 1975. The family-owned and operated the Republican for over 80 years.

Qualified applicant(s) will be awarded a scholarship for financial assistance for the upcoming fall semester.

Qualifications: Interested candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this award:

- A graduating high school senior at Council Grove High School.

- Applicant must be enrolled as full-time student with no less than 12 credit hours.

*Application must be submitted by April 15th at 11:59 pm CST.
