  • The Betty Kennedy Scott Strom Scholarship Fund was established to provide an educational opportunity annually to a Council Grove High School graduating female senior or alumna pursuing a degree or certificate at an accredited Kansas college or technical school or at Cottey College.

    One qualified applicant will be awarded a scholarship for financial assistance for the upcoming fall semester. 

    Qualifications: Interested candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this award:

    - Graduating high school senior of USD 417 Council Grove High School. 

    - Applicant must be entering a full-time college program or currently enrolled in a full-time college program no less than 12 credit hours at an accredited Kansas college or rtechnical school or at Cottey College.

    *Application must be submitted by April 15th at 11:59 pm CST.
