  • Instructions for demo submittal:

    Using your own device, please record yourself playing or singing the song we’ve selected below; you'll also find a chord chart for musicians below the video. When recording, it is important to play or sing the song as close as possible to the way it is being played and sung on the video.

    Remember, this is a very important step in the audition process. Since you will be submitting your own video, you have the opportunity to do as many takes as you wish to get it to your liking. Give us your best!

    Once you have recorded, upload your video to YouTube, and paste the YouTube video link into the the box at the bottom of this section.

  • Thanks for taking time to apply for the CHC Worship Team! After you submit your responses, our team will review your submittal and demo, and get back with you.

     

    If your video submission is approved, it will be time for a live audition. You will be performing the song from your video submission as well as a song of your choosing that we do at CHC. Please let us know which song you choose. Musicians will need to bring all equipment pertinent to the instrument you play, such as amps, pedalboards, cables, etc., that CHC does not already provide. (CHC provides iPads, microphones, drums and piano). Additionally, since CHC uses in-ear monitors you will also need to bring earbuds. You will be playing with a click track and in front of people for the purpose of evaluation.

     

    We will be evaluating your skill level as well as your stage presence. Remember the goal at CHC is not perfection but we do aim high for excellence. We expect you to come well prepared for your audition but we also want you to enjoy yourself. We will contact you after the audition to let you know how it went.

     

    If you pass the video submission and live audition, the next step is assimilation into the team. Depending on past experience you may be required to attend several rehearsals before being scheduled for Sunday service. This is so you can familiarize yourself with the team and our process.
