• London 2025 WST Registration

26-31 December 2025, Woodland Camp (London, UK)
  • The Winter School of Truth is a residential conference for young people aged 11-18. This year, the conference will be held in multiple locations:

    • North UK (Derbyshire): Serving the Midlands, Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
    • South UK (London): Serving the South and the East of England and Wales.

Additionally, the Winter School will be held in Spain, Ireland and the Netherlands.

The London Winter School of Truth is hosted by the church in London and will take place from 26 to 31 December. The event comprises two sections: Juniors (school years 7-11) and Seniors (school years 12-13) at Woodland Camp.

First Timothy 2:4 says that God desires all men to come to the full knowledge of the truth and Second Timothy 3:16 says that the scriptures are profitable for teaching. Although it is a "school" in name, the nature of the teaching is not like a secular school where the emphasis is on the acquisition of knowledge. Instead, its emphasis is the experiential apprehension of the truth. This can be likened to a restaurant that not only presents the menu but serves the food listed as dishes for enjoyment.

The goal is for the young people, through this kind of teaching, to taste and see the Lord as the reality of all the truths in the Word. This is carried out in a loving family atmosphere, where the young people are nurtured to grow in the Lord and receive the love of the truth.

  • Graduation

For those of you in your final year there will be an opportunity for you to share with during the graduation meeting. We encourage you to consider what you may share from your experience with the Lord that would be encouraging to the younger ones.

  • How can we help?

Are there any questions, requests or concerns you would like to share with us? While we cannot guarantee an answer, we will do our best and want you to know we care.

Feel free to ask any question no matter small and we will try to find a way during the week to respond.

For example, do you have any questions about the Lord, the Bible or church life you would like to hear about? Are there any young people or serving saints you would like to be with?

Your responses will remain confidential within the serving registration team.

  • Serving One

  • Every young person must be accompanied by a serving one. Please provide the name of the serving one who will be caring for this young person. The serving one should also complete their own registration.

Each serving one can be responsible for a maximum of three young people and should ideally be from their own locality/hall. In case of any difficulty, please fellowship the brothers in your locality or the neighbouring localities in your cluster.

  • 3 Parents

  • The Winter School of Truth is a six-day residential conference for young people. We thank the Lord that this year will mark our 22nd consecutive Truth School in the UK. This time the subject will be "The Vision and Building of the Church", the fifth topic in a six-year cycle.

    The Nature and Goal

First Timothy 2:4 says that God desires all men to come to the full knowledge of the truth, and Second Timothy 3:16 says that the scriptures are God-breathed and profitable for teaching. Although it is a "school" in name, the nature of the teaching is not like a secular school where the emphasis is on the acquisition of knowledge. Instead, its emphasis is the experiential apprehension of the truth. This can be likened to a restaurant that not only presents the menu but serves the food listed as dishes for the patron's enjoyment.

The goal is for young people, through this kind of teaching, to taste and see the Lord as the reality of all the truths in the Word. This is carried out in a loving family atmosphere, where the young people are nurtured to grow in the Lord and receive the love of the truth.

    Daily Activities

Each day of the Winter School includes small group and large meetings, study sessions and testings, with much singing and enjoyment all centred around the Bible. Throughout the week young people are encouraged to develop their personal relationship with the Lord and corporate pursuit with companions. There are also times for recreation including team-building projects, games and sports as well as an opportunity for some to join a Bible distribution in the local area. The last night of the conference concludes with a delightful graduation for young people who are in their final year.

    Safeguarding

The church in London prioritises health, safety and safeguarding. All workers undergo Enhanced DBS checks and the church's approval process. Refer to the first-aid policy, good practice guidelines and safeguarding policy for more details.

    Parents Participation

Recognising the crucial role of parents, we would like to coordinate with you to care for your child, ensuring their growth and development in the Lord, and the well-being of all the young participants at the Winter School and beyond.

We encourage you to consider the following:

    1. Consider Serving: whether you can commit to full-time or part-time, your involvement would be a great shepherding.
    2. Have a Family Talk: spend some time with your child to discuss the purpose of the winter school, inquire about their expectations for the week, pray together, read through the regulations and complete the agreements together.
  • Parental Information

  • Parental Consent

To be completed by above named parent
  • 3.4 Responsibility

I permit my child to participate in conference activities, acknowledging they will be supervised by approved church workers. While the workers will exercise reasonable care, they are not necessarily responsible for any harm or loss during the conference.

  • 3.5 Medical

I authorize first aid, administered by a first aider if available, or medical treatment by a qualified practitioner, in case of illness or accident for my child. In a medical emergency, leaders will promptly contact me using the provided phone numbers.

  • 3.6 Transport

I consent to my child being transported to and from conference venues and participating in conference activities.

  • 3.7 Media

I give permission for my child to be included in conference photos or videos for the purpose of reports or conference invitations for future years.

  • 4 Helpers and Serving Ones

  • Thank you for volunteering to serve with young people at the Winter School of Truth. Serving the young people involves paying a price and is a real travail and labour of love. Despite this, we can testify to the joy it brings to see our young people begin to know, love and walk in the truth.

Please be aware that your registration is pending approval from the registration team, which includes safeguarding checks.

Once you have completed the registration form, we ask you to do three important things:

    1. Pray: spend some time to consecrate yourself to the Lord and bring the conference to Him.
    2. Join the Teachers' Training: Participate in a fellowship for all the serving ones and helpers. Times and dates to be announced at a later date.
    3. Prepare with Companions: Coordinate with another serving one to study the messages before the conference.

We look forward to serving together and believe this time will be a benefit not only to the young people but all of us as well.
