Important points to note:
- Capacity: Sri Hanuman Chalisa Havan is open only for the registered Chinmaya Mission Houston member families. We have arranged for 54 Havan Kunds, allowing us to accommodate 54 families per time slot. Time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Seating Arrangement: While performing havan, traditional seating is on the floor. However, if any member of your family absolutely cannot sit on the floor, we will arrange for chairs for the whole family. We have 12 Havan kunds designated for chair seating in each time slot so please be very judicious and considerate in making this selection.
- Booking: Please select only one 45 minute time slot for your family - either floor seating or chair seating spot. Kindly select the next available slot if your preferred time slot is fully booked. Bookings are final and cannot be changed.
- Havan Kund Assignment: Prior to the Hanuman Chalisa Havan day, each family will be assigned a Havan Kund number within the selected time slot that will be communicated separately.
- Arrival: Please arrive 30 mins early for parking, check-in, a brief orientation on how to perform the havan and seating. Ushers will escort you to your assigned spot.
- Havan Samagri: All Havan samagri will be provided by CMH. Please do not bring outside items for the Havan to ensure a safe environment.
- Chanting: Please bring your own copies of the Hanuman Chalisa if needed.
- Instructions: Detailed instructions on how to perform the Havan will be sent at a later date prior to the event.
- Last day for Sign-up: For planning purposes and to ensure we can assign Havan kunds to families in each time slot, sign‑ups will close on March 1, 2026. We kindly request everyone to register at their earliest convenience to help us plan smoothly and avoid any last‑minute inconvenience.
