2026 Technology Innovation Award

This award celebrates outstanding projects that showcase innovation in the adoption of technology in real estate to enhance the workplace experience and achieve corporate objectives.

Eligibility Criteria

• The technology project must have been executed by a team based in the CoreNet Global Australia region.
• The technology project team must include a CoreNet Global member or be an Australian Chapter sponsor in good standing. 
• The technology project must have been completed after 1 January 2025.
• Last year’s category winner is excluded from this year’s category award
• If the award sponsor chooses to write a feature article on the winner, we kindly ask that you make yourself available at a mutually convenient time

Timeline

• Wednesday 4 March 2026 - nominations open
• Friday 29 May 2026 - nominations close
• Tuesday 18 August 2026 - Australian winner announced at CNGAU REawards function, the night prior to the annual conference

Strategic Alignment (250 words max - 5% weighting)

How did the project align with the client’s corporate strategy and values?

Project Objectives & Challenges (400 words max - 15% weighting)

• What were the primary project objectives?
• What unique challenges related to Technology did the project want to overcome?

Metrics & Performance (250 words max - 15% weighting)

• What were the defined key metrics to measure project success?
• How were these metrics tracked and assessed throughout the project lifecycle?

Innovation (1000 words max - 25% weighting)

• Describe how innovative technology initiatives were incorporated into the project.
• How did these innovations set the project apart in the marketplace?

• Using existing technologies in a new way
• Use of data analytics, IoT, AI, VR technologies to achieve project outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement (250 words max - 10% weighting)

How did you engage employees, stakeholders or the community in the design and innovation process?

Outcomes & Impact (400 words max - 30% weighting)

• What were the final outcomes achieved and how did they align with the defined objectives and key metrics?
• How did the project exceed or fall short of initial goals?

Once you submit your nomination, you will receive a copy which contains a link to make any necessary changes. You must complete any amendments by 5.00pm Friday 29 May 2026.
