Cleveland State University’s Department of Art & Design is hosting its second annual Haddad Youth Enrichment Design Week for area youth this summer. This is your invitation to participate. This 1-week program offers 35 middle and high school students the opportunity to delve into the dynamic world of design at CSU's Department of Art and Design. This free, interactive Design Week pairs youth attendees with real designers to work through the design thinking process, explore Adobe Creative Cloud software, develop a publication and campaign, and discover what a career in design might look like.

Design Week was developed in conjunction with Jacinda Walker, founder of designExplorr, an organization whose primary design goal is to create opportunities for youth to pursue creative careers. Walker, along with other design professionals, will lead attendees through an immersive creative journey that encourages critical thinking about social impact problems.

Fill out all forms completely before the deadline. Seating is limited. Please ensure you register separately for each role you plan to undertake within the program. If registering multiple attendees, kindly submit individual registrations for each. This form will also serve as registration for those on the waitlist. Preadmission interviews are required for new students.

Dates: July 27-31, 2025

Time: 10:00am-4:00pm (continental breakfast and lunch will be provided)
