Accountant Associate for CI Biomass- a part of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners

Area of responsibilities:
As the new Accounting Associate, you will collectively with the CFO and colleagues in the UK, form the finance team for CISC Europe. You will be based at the Copenhagen office, where you will be working closely with the CFO, CEO and other CISC colleagues- a small yet an impactful team!
CISC Europe manages a portfolio of energy assets currently all located in the UK, valued at around £2 billion. All financial aspects of the plants in the UK are handled by our highly skilled and ambitious team of four finance professionals located in the UK office. With reference to the CFO, you will be handling all accounting and finance matters for the CISC Europe entity, this includes bookkeeping, month-end closing and ad hoc analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
• Bookkeeping, reconciliations and month-end closing
• Handling all aspects of operational finance, from AP, AR, to GL transactions
• Travel Expense Management
• Taking lead on year-end closing process and PBC material.
• Responsible for cost allocation and recharging, incl maintenance of the cost allocation model
• Monthly reporting in collaboration with CFO
• Provide ad hoc analysis
The ideal candidate has prior experience from a similar role, experience with Navision and a solid accounting background. Experience with cost allocation models is an added advantage. You have a documented track record of delivering consistent and successful results in your previous jobs.
You must possess good communication skills in both Danish and English, and be able to clearly, and timely, communicate findings and conclusions. You will be expected to work independently on all tasks, while being a team player.
You work meticulously and with a high attention to details. As a person you must be open-minded, able to anticipate new aspects impacting your work and scope from the continuous changes we expect to see in the company.
