The current pipeline consists of approximately 4,000 ha, equivalent to around 4 GW, in selected key areas, and the company is now in the process of developing one of Denmark's largest utility-scale solar PV projects, with a capacity exceeding 500 MW.
The position
St. Jørgen is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects on an international level. In this position you will play an essential role in leading and managing projects, related to the energy transition as well as sourcing future possibilities, outside of Denmark. You will be a part of a constantly evolving journey where new needs and opportunities occur. By being part of St. Jørgen’s team you will have a very broad contact surface in the organization, and you have the possibility to make your mark on St. Jørgen's development. As the new International Project Manager your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the execution of the projects end-to-end, as well as identifying and managing risks and opportunities associated with the projects and developing mitigation strategies.
Furthermore, your tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of project plans and supporting documents
- Assembling relevant project teams and resources
- Driving the projects according to plan and monitoring progress throughout the process
Your profile
St. Jørgen is looking for a Project Manager to source and drive their international projects. The ideal candidate is a team player, detailed oriented, and is able to coordinate and prioritize numerous important tasks. You are also service-minded, independent and a motivated individual, who thrives in a cross-cultural environment. It is crucial that you show flexibility and have a structural mindset.
The ideal candidate is expected to have a relevant higher education such as a Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Economics, or other relevant. Additionally we expect you to have at least 5 years of experience in strategic project management, M&A, or other relevant fields, preferably from the renewable energy sector. To fill this role, you must have a systematic, structured, and analytical approach to your tasks, as well as being open and curios to acquire new knowledge. You must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interface with all employee levels across the company.
Furthermore, it is expected that you have:
- Experience with project management tolls and software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Danish and English
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with report writing and presentation to the management
