Introduction to Finance:
Finance is an essential team in CIP covering Reporting, Accounting & Processes, Tax Compliance & Reporting, Financial Analysis, Fund Performance and IT which makes them a key player in the organization. Area of responsibilities:
The newly appointed Senior Financial Controller will become a part of an ambitious and highly professional financial team who has the general responsibility of accounting, controlling and financial management. Your primary responsibilities will be the preparations and/or review of accounts and management reporting and similarly. You will be a part of the implementation and constant development of controlling- and reporting processes for the company’s investments.
Furthermore, you will take part in informing the management and directors about the financial relations and performance by developing presentation materials used at internal management meetings.
Finally, you will be continuously involved in ad hoc assignments across the organization which place high demands to both your analytical and collaborative skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
Review of interim and annual accounts, tax returns etc. prepared by accountants/auditors.
Financial controlling of Danish funds and foreign portfolio companies’ financial reporting.
Assist in the developing of presentation materials for management and board meetings
Streamlining of financial processes
Providing support to local finance teams in various finance and tax related matters across investments and countries.
Assist with implementation of local finance and administration set-up when entering new geographic areas.
Ensure compliance with Danish and international regulations and assist with general financial compliance tasks.
Clarification of accounting questions and issues from Accountants
Carry out drawdowns from and distributions to investors.
The ideal candidate has a relevant higher education, preferably a cand.merc.aud or similar. We imagine that you have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience from one of the major accounting firms. Preferably, you are in a similar position in a company today but want more professional challenge and development. You have an extensive toolbox and you are a super user of both Excel and PowerPoint since you will be working on several different projects where it is particularly important to be able to deliver detailed and quality work.
