  • CAJAL courses description

CAJAL courses are intensive, three-week training programs focused on cutting-edge areas of neuroscience. They combine keynote lectures with hands-on experiments, expert tutoring, and group projects, providing participants with an in-depth understanding of advanced neuroscience concepts, tools, and techniques.

Courses are held in one of our venues – Bordeaux School of Neuroscience (France) or the Champalimaud Foundation (Lisbon, Portugal). The host institutions provide dedicated teaching laboratories, equipment and technical support.

Courses typically have one local course director and two international co-directors, who work together to develop the scientific programme and coordinate the teaching team.
