Welcome to YWAM Cross Wind. We are excited about the possibility of you joining our team. Whether you are passionate about missions, love discipleship, or just feel a calling to serve, we honor your step of faith.

YWAM Cross Wind's mission is to know God and to make him known. We are doing this through our Discipleship Training Schools (DTS), ministries to foster and prisoners’ kids, specialized trainings, and retreats. We also run camps internationally for children at-risk.

While we are a younger YWAM Base, our international ministry has been serving prisoner’s and foster kids and their families since 2003. YWAM Cross Wind is pioneering this new base in Hesston, Kansas.

If you’ve finished your DTS and you feel that God is calling you to full time missions, we may be the match for you. We are looking for a team from diverse backgrounds, nations and ages. A team made of singles and families to help equip this generation to know God and make Him known.

On staff you will be part of community activities (worship, prayer, meals, and intercession). You will also serve the base in an area that best suits your skills and our current needs with intentionality in developing your abilities. On staff you may also participate in serving children at risk in our local community. Throughout the year you will have opportunities for additional training and international ministry trips.

Our staff live both on and off the campus. We will discuss housing with you in more detail during the application process.

For married couples, both husband and wife must fill out a separate application. We will review them once we have both spouses' applications. We also want to review your references before contacting you. Final acceptance will be decided after a background check has been run (that will be in a separate email).
