Terms and Conditions
By booking and participating in this towing lesson, you agree that:
Lesson format
Your booking is for 30 minutes and includes approximately:
5 minutes to become familiar with the supplied vehicle and caravan
20 minutes of supervised towing instruction
5 minutes for questions and feedback
Driver licence
You must hold and carry a current driver licence that is valid in Queensland and appropriate for the supplied vehicle and caravan combination. You may be asked to present your licence before the lesson begins.
Fitness to drive
You must be fit to drive and must not participate if you are affected by alcohol, drugs, medication, illness, fatigue or any condition that may impair your ability to drive safely.
Instructor supervision
An accredited towing instructor will accompany you throughout the driving component of the lesson. You agree to follow the instructor’s directions and comply with all road rules and safety requirements.
Safety and participation
The instructor may delay, modify or end the lesson at any time if they consider it unsafe to continue, including because of weather, traffic, participant conduct or another safety concern.
Supplied equipment
The vehicle and caravan will be supplied for the lesson. You agree to use them carefully and only as directed by the instructor. You must immediately report any incident, damage or safety concern.
Personal responsibility
Towing involves risks associated with operating a vehicle and caravan. You agree to take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of the instructor, other road users and members of the public.
Lesson limitations
This is a short introductory lesson. Participation does not guarantee competency and does not replace further training or practice that may be required before towing independently.
Changes or cancellation
Lesson times may need to be changed or cancelled due to unsafe conditions, instructor availability, vehicle issues or circumstances beyond the organiser’s reasonable control. You will be contacted using the details provided with your booking.
Information provided
You confirm that the information supplied in your booking is complete and accurate. Your contact details will be used to administer the booking and communicate with you about the lesson.
Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Participant Declaration
I confirm that I have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions. I hold a current driver licence valid for the supplied vehicle and caravan combination, am fit to drive, and agree to follow the accredited instructor’s directions throughout the lesson.
