Dear BCCEC Members,
The Bahamas Trade Commission, in collaboration with The Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Brazilian Embassy in Nassau, is organizing a Trade Mission to Brazil in the 1st quarter of 2024. Members of the BCCEC are invited to be a part of the
delegation.
The objective of the mission to Brazil is to explore opportunities for trade and investment between The Bahamas and Brazil.
Specifically, the mission will look at:
(a) the Brazilian model of support to MSME to participate and trade products in the orange economy;
(b) explore potential for collaboration on logistics and shipping between the two countries;
(c) discuss opportunities for investment in The Bahamas, and specifically Grand Bahama;and
(d) explore possible collaborations between the private sectors in Brazil and The Bahamas in relation to the trade of goods and services.
Representatives from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, The Bahamas Trade Commission, Small Business Development Center Access Accelerator, The Bahamas Investment Authority, The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute and the Grand Bahama Port Authority are expected to be a part of the delegation.
