Champions Group Swim Lessons 2025 (morning)

Small Group Swim Lessons provide Champions Run Members of all ages and swimming abilities the tools they need to improve their skills. Classes are taught by trained Champions Run staff using American Red Cross swim lessons. Each session is 45 minutes long. You can set up a FREE swim evaluation if you are unsure of your child’s skill level. Your child will get an evaluation card at the end of each session. $175 a session Session 1 Lessons June 2nd-13th Session 2 Lessons June 16th-27th Session 3 Lessons July 7th-18th The cost of Group Lessons will be $175 per child per session. Classes Run Monday through Friday for 2 weeks from 11:30am-12:15pm.Each day we will begin with 5 to 10 minutes out of water to talk through what the goals of the day are, this will be followed by 35 to 40 minutes of drills and instruction in the water. The first day will mainly be used to make sure everyone is comfortable in the water and gauge overall swimming ability of each group, this is extremely important to maintain safety and get an understanding for all the participants in how we approach our learning goals. Instructors will track the progress and skills of each swimmer in their group throughout the 10 days. On the Final day of the session we will have each participant attempt the skill goals for their group level.
If over 18 swimmers in a singular session either an additional session will be added or you will be asked to select another session. This is due to to an instructor to swimmer ratio we will maintain, to keep lessons productive for everyone. Select the level of your child - Children may be moved up or down in a group based on skill level. We recommend Level 1 do private lessons, if you are searching for instruction beyond level 4 we also recommend private lessons to create a plan tailored to that individual and what they desire to achieve - Please register on the previous page.

Level 2 Recommended ages (3-6) Can jump in the water, not afraid of the water, can blow bubbles, but still needs assistance in the water. Skills taught: Big arms and splashy kicks the foundations to understanding freestyle, gliding in a streamline, jump in and exit pool, float on back unassisted and float on front assisted, back float rollover swim at least 10 yards to exit the pool, learn foundations of sea otter rolls (roll onto back from freestyle to take a breath)Level 3 Recommended ages (3-6) Can perform front and back floats, arm circles, and can normally let go of the side of the pool and get back without panicking. Skills taught: Understand and perform front and backstroke, can jump into the water and swim 25 yards and exit using sea otter rolls to breath or breathing to the side, can perform a kneel in dive unassistedLevel 4 Recommended ages (4-8) Understands the concepts of freestyle and backstroke, needs stroke refinement, comfortable in deeper water. Skills taught: rotary breathing (breathing to the side) in freestyle, dive from a block, backstroke proficiency, develop understanding in breaststroke, understand dolphin kicks, and introduce butterfly
