    Arena Used:Preston Memorial Arena, North Rink & South Rink: 1458 Hamilton Street, Cambridge, ON

  • Session Information:

    Please review the schedule below for available session times.

  • Level of Skater who can participate:

    • This program is geared to skaters from the age of 2 to 4 years old. But we will accept both younger and older skaters in this group.
    • Parents are required to be on the ice to assist their child.
    • No skating aids will be available or can be brought onto the ice.
    • Parents do need to have basic knowledge of skating (so that you can assist your child).
    • Parents and skaters will be required to wear a CSA approved Hockey Helmet.
    • Parents are also required to wear skates on the ice.

  • Session & Fee Structure:

    The instructional portion of the program goes from October 14 to March 10. Gala Practices are between March 11th and April 2nd, 2027. Show date: Weekend of April 3, 2027 (details to follow)

  • Skating Sessions:  October to December 2026

    • Wednesdays:  October 14th to December 16th, 2026
    • Thursdays: October 15th to December 17th, 2026
    • Saturdays: October 17th to December 19th, 2026

    Skating Sessions: January to March 2027

    • Wednesdays: January 6th to March 10th, 2027
    • Thursdays: January 7th to March 4th, 2027
    • Saturdays: January 30th to March 6th, 2027
      No skating Saturday January 9,16, 23, 2027  * There are no make up days for these missed Saturdays.

    Skating Locations:

    •        Wednesdays & Thursdays sessions are at Preston Memorial Arena, North 
    •        Saturdays sessions are at Preston Memorial Arena, South Arena

    Gala Practice Sessions and Show:

    • From March 11th to April 2nd, 2027, is Gala practice. Skaters will continue to develop their skating skills. The show is the weekend of April 3, 2027.  More information to come.

                  • Receipts for the skating program will be emailed to you.  Please check your spam folder if not in your inbox.
                  • Please make note of what you have registered for.
                  • The winter program is being offered at:  Preston Memorial Arena (1458 Hamilton Street).
                  • All skaters are required to have a home club.
                  • Registration will remain open until program is full.
                  • These fees include all Membership fees.
                  • Once you have completed the winter registration form, we will register you with Skate Canada.
                  • Once the form has been submitted there are no refunds.
                  • Information about the 2027 Gala will be available at a later date.
                  • To continue to assist families through these challenging times, the Preston FSC Club has decided to suspend the Skate Ontario Promotional Fundraiser for the 2026/27 season.

                  I, the undersigned accept full financial responsibility for this application form. I understand that there will be no refunds of deposits or due balances after the deadline dates. I agree that PFSC, Huston, Wheeler & Wheeler Skating Schools (KLFSS Inc) will not be held responsible for any accidents or loss, however caused and agree to release indemnity and save harmless the PFSC, Huston, Wheeler & Wheeler Skating Schools (KLFSS Inc) from all damage or claims as a result of such accidents or loss. I agree my child / ward will abide by the rules and regulations of the PFSC, Champions Training Centre of Cambridge {KLFSS Inc} as set by the directors. Any disregard for these rules will result in the removal of the Skater from our skating program without refund of any fees paid.
