LIFE WITH A FOSTER DOG

We feel it's important to make a proper match when placing a foster dog. Although it is not forever, we need to understand what you can handle and what is not possible to place in your home. It's important to answer these questions honestly.
Is there anything you are NOT willing to deal with when it comes to fostering. (for example; are you able to seperate animals if needed. Dogs that aren't potty trained. ETC) *

Please read below to better understand our foster process:

I understand the process includes: a completed application, a check of my personal and vet references, permission form Landlord (if applicable), home ownership verification (if applicable), a phone or in person interview and a home visit (with all family members present).

I understand my responsibilities as a foster includes: providing my foster dog with transportation to vet appointments, including checkups, booster vaccinesines or to pick up medications ,drop of fecal samples as needed, etc.

Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue does pay for the veterinarian visits and medications.

We ask that you provide food. If you CANNOT, we will provide the food for you.

I understand that meeting a rescue animal can carry a risk and I will not hold Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue or their volunteers liable for any harm that comes to me or my family during a meeting or while fostering the animal. I will follow all directions on how to greet an animal as given. Decompression guidelines will be followed as directed.
