SPECIAL RECOGNITION Criteria
May be given to someone who has done something noteworthy during this year or many years of continued service.  This person may or may not be a club member.  This award is not always given each year. Please give reasons for nomination for Special Recognition

AKC SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD  Criteria
This award honors individuals who deserve special recognition that have made a difference in the sport of purebred dogs, embodied the AKC Code of Sportsmanship, and have been an active and valued member of an AKC member club. The winner’s name will be recorded on the AKC website for Sportsmanship Award recipients.
