  • As a church, we cannot keep the Good News of Christmas within our four walls. God's love compels us to share His message with those who have yet to hear it. This year, we seek to bring Greater Praise beyond our church, to be His salt and light, reaching the community with hope and joy of the Gospel. Let us unite as a church family to spread Christmas cheer, uplift others, and shine His light in the world.

    As we aim to step out of 597 East Coast Road, here are a few areas in which you can be involved in:

    5: Community outreach (FILOS, Goodlife, MWS CMH, MWS Eunos)

    9: Outreach Party (Host for "Home for Christmas" parties and/or be part of the carolling team to visit party locations)

    7: Rental Home Outreach     (Cleaning of HDB rental homes and/or carolling at their homes)

  • 5: Community Outreach

    Here are the opportunities available

    Outreaches 1 & 2: FILOS & Goodlife (Slots are full)

    Date: 13 Dec (Sat)
    Time: 10.00 am to 1.00 pm
    Venue: CMC
    Involvement: Befrienders and Games (20 pax needed)

    Outreach 3: FILOS Christmas @ Chai Chee

    Date: 5 Dec (Fri)
    Time: 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm
    Venue: Amphitheatre (Near Blk 61, Chai Chee Road)
    Involvement: Befrienders (20 pax needed)

    Outreach 4: MWS Christalite Methodist Home

    Date: 13 Dec (Sat)
    Time: 3.30 pm to 4.00 pm
    Venue: CMH
    Involvement: Present a Christmas Song Item (10 pax needed. Sign up as a CG is preferred.)

    Outreach 5: MWS Eunos

    Date: 2 Dec (Tue)
    Time: 1.30 pm to 3.00 pm
    Venue: MWS Eunos Day Care Centre
    Involvement: Befrienders and Games (20 pax needed)

  • 9: Outreach Party

    "Home for Christmas"
    This is a gathering where you invite your pre-believing loved ones to a Christmas celebration. CMC will provide a simple toolkit to help facilitate your gathering – i.e. short message on Christmas and CMC's very own "Taboo" cards (stocks are limited).

    Carolling
    More than just singing songs, carolling brings warmth, hope, and joy into homes! You’ll be part of a team visiting a few homes in one evening (transport provided).

    There will be rehearsals beforehand. Bring a joyful heart, warm smile, and festive spirit, and let’s make this a season of song, love, and blessing!

    You may choose to participate by hosting a "Home for Christmas" party, be part of the carolling team that visits party locations, or both!


  • 7: Rental Home Outreach

    House Cleaning (Slots are full)
    Cleaning of HDB rental homes will also include shifting furniture, packing and clearing unused items, painting, etc. 

    Carolling
