CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT
For the purposes of the below, "member of the public" includes any individual contacting or interacting with volunteers at the Christmas Daddies Telethon, or any individual whose personal information becomes known by volunteers during the course of their volunteer activities for the telethon.
Unless a member of the public provides explicit consent, all personal information encountered by volunteers is confidential and cannot be disclosed or used, directly or indirectly, except for the purposes of conducting the telethon.
Volunteers may only use this information for the purposes for which it was collected and that the individual would reasonably expect.
Recording, releasing or disclosing private information of any member of the public for personal gain or the benefit of another will result in immediate removal from the premises and will include civil or criminal prosecution.

Volunteers must also only record personal information collected during the telethon within the platform provided by the telethon organizers.
Volunteers cannot send personal information collected for the purposes of the telethon to personal email or storage accounts.
Volunteers cannot store personal information collected for the purposes of the telethon, including pictures, on personal or external devices.
Volunteers must avoid discussing such information in public places (including by phone in taxis, trains and airplanes), with family members or friends or with business colleagues when conversations might be overheard.
Volunteers must report immediately unauthorized disclosure, transmission, misappropriation or misuse of confidential information to the organizers of the telethon.
Your obligation to protect the personal information of members of the public continues after the volunteer relationship ends.
Upon the conclusion of the volunteer activities, all volunteers must:
1) Return all copies of confidential information and documents, including electronic records, and all third party information entrusted to volunteers.
2) Continue to uphold the confidentiality of personal information and not use or disseminate any such information.
