• Request for Outdoor Dining on Private/Commercial Property

  • Please note that this form is for requesting approval for outdoor dining on private or commercial property only, not on public sidewalks. For outdoor dining on public sidewalks, please email OutdoorDining@nashuanh.gov or call Lauren Byers (Public Works) at 589-3276.

    Information and documents submitted through this form will be distributed to the Departments who are involved with approving outdoor dining on private and commercial property. Contact information for those Departments is provided at the bottom of this page. Please use the Outdoor Dining Checklist for Private Property emailed to you by the Planning Deparment to guide you through the process.

    After entering the required information, uploading documents and clicking "Submit", an email will be sent to the City and they will begin processing your request. An email will also be sent to the Applicant Email address provided confirming receipt of your submission. The confirmation email will have a link to your form so you can go back at a later time and update your information or upload additional documents. Please note, for security purposes, you must set up a free JotForm account and be logged in to add additional information to your original form.

    Tents (with sides) or canopies (without sides) that are 400 square feet or larger require a permit and inspection from Building Safety (see checklist for links to guidance and permit application).

    Required restrooms and restroom fixtures to accommodate both inside and outside seating counts must be provided. The inability to provide required restroom facilities will result in denial of additional outside seating.
