Notes:1. Students are required to complete the online application form and upload a copy of the current transcript and / or transcript of your 1st degree and relevant supporting documents to the system by December / January (for exchange in Semester A) OR August / September (for exchange in Semester B).2. The information provided will be used for selection purpose only.3. Please check out the list of partner institutions for the eligibility and the number of remaining quotas. Please plan carefully when choosing the target institutions.4. Once you have submitted the application or after you have confirmed to join the exchange programme with a particular host institution, you are not allowed to switch between different institutions.5. It is not advisable to submit an application and withdraw lightly afterwards. However, if you decide to withdraw from the exchange programme after selection, please write to the host institution about the withdrawal and provide a reason as a matter of courtesy (cc copy to the SLW programme administrative staff).6. Applications after the timeline specified will not be entertained.7. You will pay tuition fees to CityUHK. The amount of tuition fees are normally calculated in accordance with the equivalent credit units you enroll. The University Finance Office will issue the e-statement for tuition fees and you can download it from AIMS for settlement.8. You have to bear your own other expenses incurred including air passage, accommodation, living and medical expenses, visa application, other insurances as per the host institution’s request etc.9. As requested by the University, selected students will be required to pay a Caution Money of HK$1,000 when they accept the exchange offer from the University. Students will receive a reimbursement of the Caution Money if and when they have completed the exchange programme with satisfaction, and submitted all the required documents to the University upon completion of the exchange programme. Should student fail to meet any of the above stated requirements or decide to withdraw from the programme after accepting the offer, even before or after departure, the Caution Money will be forfeited.10. Please ensure that your passport or traveling document is valid for at least six months at the time when you depart for the exchange activity in Semester A or B. The SLW will not be responsible for handling your visa applications.11. Students are requested to complete the student agreement and the CIMAT form before departure.12. It is advisable that you seek the approval of the (Associate) Programme Director on your course selection before your departure as far as credit transfer is concerned. There will not be any grade transfer.13. According to AR 5.6, credit transfer should be limited to a maximum of 30% of the total credit units for the award being pursued.
