Our programs—author talks, concerts, and film screenings—are primarily curated internally, and we have limited capacity for unsoliticted program requests. While every program pitch is considered, we cannot guarantee a response due to the large quantity of pitches we receive. City of Asylum Mission:

City of Asylum builds a just community by protecting and celebrating freedom of creative expression.

We provide sanctuary to endangered writers and artists, so that they can continue to create and their voices are not silenced.

We offer a broad range of free literary, arts, and humanities programs in a community setting to build social equity through cultural exchange.

And by transforming dialpidated properties into homes for our programs, we anchor neighborhood economic development.

We present programs on nights when our restaurant is open as well as nights or weekend afternoons when our restaurant is closed. Can you program occur while our restaurant is open? Do you have any specific questions or concerns related to this?
