This Agreement authorizes Customer Care Department to re-establish service in the Landlord’s name for the above listed service locations without further notification by the Landlord. The re-establishment of service will occur at the time that the tenant terminates service with the City.
Upon effecting this agreement the Landlord and the City of East Point agree to the following:
The Landlord will be responsible for payment of the account from the time service is re-established in their name until a new tenant establishes service with the City.
The meter will remain on and the landlord will be responsible for any basic and/or water consumption charges.
The City will not be liable for any water damage to the property; i.e., leaks, broken or frozen pipes, etc.
The landlord agrees to notify the City in writing of any changes in property ownership affected by this agreement.
The City reserves the right to disconnect the service due to non-payment or for emergency purposes.
Either party may cancel this agreement after providing 60 days written notice to the other party.
