Effective September 1, 2025
Leak Protection Program Policy
The City of East Point is updating our Leak Adjustment Policy, effective September 1, 2025. Below you’ll find the qualifications, exclusions, and steps required to request a leak adjustment.

To qualify, the leak must cause additional charges of at least two (2) times your 12-month average bill.
Requests must be submitted within 90 days of the billing date.
The leak must be repaired before adjustments are made, and proof of repair (invoice, receipt, or plumber’s bill) may be required.
New customers must establish three (3) months of average usage before becoming eligible for adjustments.
